In the past many RTO owners and CEOs have tended to leave the day to day management and compliance with the Australian Quality Training Framework to their RTO compliance officers. In fact, the CEO is ultimately responsible for ensuring that the business complies with the AQTF 2010 Essential Standards for Registration and any national guidelines approved by the National Quality Council. In effect, this means that the decisions made by the CEO should be informed by the experiences of its trainers and assessors.

In fact, supporting continuous improvement through a consultation process makes good business sense.
